What is Sensory Processing?​

The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) controls our sensory system. Sensory integration refers to how our senses work together to organize and process incoming information from the world around us. Kids may be oversensitive to sensory input, under-sensitive, or both. Sensitivity can change from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute, or second to second.
